Lumen
Lumen (ISSN 1209-3696) is published annually by the Canadian Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies. Only paid-up members who first deliver papers to the society’s annual meetings are eligible to submit their articles to the organizers of meetings who are appointed by the executive to serve as editors of each volume. Articles should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style or the MLA Style Manual. They should not exceed twenty double-spaced pages in length with all margins of at least two and one half centimeters. Authors’ names and addresses should appear on a separate title page and not in the text, since DSECS has a policy of ”blind submissions.“ Articles are refereed by at least two and usually three readers. Not all acceptable articles can be published. The final choice remains with the editors of each volume, who are responsible for representing the full range of disciplines and research interests in the Society’s membership. Accepted articles may need to be revised according to substantial and technical specifications. Final versions must be submitted in paper and electronic versions. The rights to articles published in Lumen belong to the Canadian Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies. Authors of essays receive one free copy of the journal and may purchase offprints.
